RANTS & RAVES

Lately, about once a week, I get a "form" email from an artist or writer telling me how great they are and I should give them an assignment.  it is obvious, from the nature of these form letters, that none of these people ever bothered to look at this website.  They simply went down Ralan's or some other market list and fired off blind letter after blind letter.

If these folks had taken a moment to target their send out, they might have made a sale.  Instead, they simply wasted their time.  Most magazines and e-zines that have websites have them for a reason.  Being oblivious to the needs of a publication is a lot like selling life insurance in a mortuary--it's just a tad bit late.

Still, since the people I'm xomplaining about don't read web sites like this one, I'm really wasting my time here.
